Does OwnMemory change files on disk?
No. It works in RAM only.
Is this the same as Task Manager?
Task Manager lists processes. OwnMemory enforces who is allowed to stay, using house rules you save.
Does it need the internet?
No. The app is local. You only need the network to buy a license or download the trial.
