The PAIN

AI is fast at writing Windows code. It is also fast at damaging a live project if you paste straight into the master.

Typical damage: a second constructor appears under the first one. A new method lands after the closing brace of the class. By the way, AI amnesia is a thing. The AI forgets features or invents controls parallel to the designer. The file still compiles, or it does not — either way the master is no longer the file you trusted.

Copy-paste between ChatGPT, Copilot, Grok or any other model and Visual Studio also drops pieces, duplicates members, and hides mistakes in a 5,000+ line form. Task-switching makes it worse: you asked for one method and received three.

SMAC exists because that workflow does not scale.

What it is (plain English)

SMAC is the adapter between any AI and any IDE. Safe & efficient with YOU in control.

You keep your editor. You keep your model. SMAC sits in the middle: Ask any AI for the code — Press Copy — Autopaste happens in SMAC — Parse the change — Preview — Accept/Merge what you want — Make Merged the new Master — Write to disk and update only if you say so.

• ADAPTER. No plugin war. Works with your AI subscription and the IDE you already use. Keep your proven tools in a faster process.
• GATEKEEPER. The AI gives targeted merge, delete, or overwrite blocks. Solves paste destination and AI line limits. Preview first. Accept one change or accept all. Color-coded changes.
• FIREWALL. The merged result is not Master — yet. Disk changes come only after you promote and save. History can walk it back, to any build, any file, any date.
• FEATURE LIST. Creating an application without FL is not possible. All the important UI controls, features of your application and AI model instructions are collected here. Easy single click export for the AI chat.
• PACK TO AI ASSISTANT. Send the FL and the necessary files to the AI chat with a simple click. The last changed files, all, with or without FL. To prevent the AI from losing features or inventing controls.
• LOCAL. Your project stays on your machine without any AI wandering inside. If you value your master be careful to whom you give the key.

Even SMAC was built like this. The first customer was this product. Hundreds of AI blocks went through the same gate: request code from the AI, paste results, preview, accept, merge, save, restart.

Use the best from both worlds. AI knows how to code — let it code. You know the project and the AI limitations — keep it on a tight leash. SMAC makes sure the project gets done in record time, despite those limits.

The FLOW

The working loop is short on purpose. Semi-automatic, to make coding easy.

1. Open the master. Open the Windows project files/folder you work on and already trust. Same location your IDE uses. It sets SMAC into C# or VB.NET mode.
2. Ask the AI. Describe the change in your usual chat. Use the convenient Pack to AI feature. SMAC can give the model a clean brief to avoid mistakes. Feature list (FL) and the last changed files are preselected and packaged. Single click copy and paste the whole package into any AI chat - All collected for easy handover to the model.
3. AUTO-Paste the answer into our NEW AI Page. Single click copy the AI code in the chat. SMAC's clipboard watcher looks for AI code packs and autopaste the AI pack into the NEW AI Page. Ctrl+V and right click paste into the NEW AI Page work as well. Of course.
4. Click the PREVIEW Page. See what will change before anything is merged, changed or deleted. If the engine skips a block, it tells you why. If the AI gave merge position mistakes, overlapping code, did not follow the FL, or made other mistakes the PREVIEW - Preflight will tell you.
5. Click ACCEPT one or many block changes. The merge process. MERGED becomes the candidate, still in memory only. You can make MERGED the new master, again in memory only. After clicking SAVE the NEW MERGED file is written to disk. Into your IDE of choice. Where your master files live.
6. DONE. Restart the updated app in your IDE. Rinse and repeat.

That is the gatekeeper job: the AI may propose. SMAC will not write into the wrong type, append after a closing brace, or bury TARGET lines inside another method if the rules are followed.

After each ASK-MERGE-Loop SMAC creates a rollback for project security. Every loop saves the old MASTERs into the local DB for recovery. Build and date indexed. Local only.
